It's a done deal. The University of Colorado will announce at an 11 a.m. Friday press conference that the school will leave the Big 12 and join the Pac-10. Multiple sources confirmed the deal to the Camera early Thursday, and league officials are scheduled to be in Boulder on Friday for the announcement. Further, those at the highest levels of Baylor's administration believe the Buffs' move has sunk the Waco school's chances of landing in the Pac-10. Expect that Baylor officials and sympathetic lawmakers will continue to make noise about blocking a potential move of the state's big three programs, but as we reported yesterday, the political power and will is simply not there for the Bears to get another free ride.
