自從Packers開除Mike McCarthy,被媒體揭露Aaron Rodgers跟McCarthy是如何不合之後, 他跟新總教練Matt LaFleur能否和平相處是被人注意的. 沒想到球季還沒開始Rodgers 就對LaFleur的練球方式有微詞了. 在季前LaFleur安排了Packers跟Texans共同練球,他表示 “Absolutely, 100 percent I want to do this again,” LaFleur said Tuesday, according to Packers News. “I’d like to do it multiple times if we could.” 可是當Rodgers被問到時: “I’m glad it’s over,” Rodgers said. “I wouldn't mind if they didn't do it for another 14 years.” Rodgers認為球隊自己訓練時其實狀況不錯,但是一跟Texans一起練球整個都亂了套. 他尤其不解為什麼要跟Texans做開球練習 “I think before the Texans came, we had some really good practices,” Rodgers said. ”I think we were very efficient, we ran the ball well, we were getting into more of our miscellaneous plays and schemes.” “We bring a team in — I understand the point of it — but I don't think doing live special teams drills are very smart,” Rodgers said. “I think the PA (players association) is going to look at that, for sure.
