Damon stole second base with two outs of a tie game in the ninth inning. Then, he inexplicably took off for third, with nobody covering the base. Gardner shook his head in disbelief. 大門第九局兩人出局盜二壘成功。然後他繼續向三壘狂奔，當下這個play令人難以理解， 結果大家發現，三壘壘包居然鬧空城。 腿弟現在仍然難以置信。 “When he went to third, I said, ‘Oh no,’” Gardner admitted. “All of us did. I knew Pedro’s speed also.
