He said that he’s feeling “much better.” (4) @BryanHoch: Aaron Judge is “good, I just wanted to take advantage of one (day off) plus the off-day,” Aaron Boone said. 4.1. @BryanHoch: Boone said that he plans to play Judge in the next five games, straight through to the All-Star Game. (5) @MaxTGoodman: Keep an eye on Anthony Rizzo with the Reds in town... Rizzo has hit 34 home runs in 123 games against Cincinnati since 2014. That's the second-most HR in MLB by any player against any team in that span, trailing Mike Trout (48 HR vs. SEA). (6) @jonmorosi: #Yankees are looking at a number of outfielders on the trade market,with #Royals CF Michael A. Taylor among them. Taylor won a Gold Glove in centerlast year and would help Aaron Boone to keep Judge, Stanton, and Hicks healthyin 2nd half and postseason. (7) @BryanHoch: Jameson Taillon has allowed 20 runs in 20 2/3 innings (8.70 ERA) over his last four starts, including tonight. (8) @MaxTGoodman: Matt Carpenter has 10 home runs in 75 plate appearances with the #Yankees this season. Carpenter hit seven home runs in 418 plate appearances from 2020-2021. (9) @ktsharp: Yankees have allowed a season-high 11 runs. Entering tonight they were the only team that hadn't allowed 11+ runs in a game this season. (10) @ktsharp: Jameson Taillon has allowed 20 runs in his last 4 games pitched.
