(3) @BryanHoch: Luis Gil was scheduled to resume a throwing program this week, but it has been pushed back about 10 days. Gil had an MRI and Aaron Boone said the doctors want to see more healing before he throws. (4) @BryanHoch: Quick Yankees injury updates: Luis Gil - Throwing program delayed about 10 days following MRI; Yankees want to see more healing Jonathan Loaisiga - Threw live BP today at Yankee Stadium, traveling to Tampa to continue throwing. Probably 2 outings from Minor League rehab Giancarlo Stanton - Continuing to hit off Trajekt high-velo machine. Traveling to Tampa and could soon take live at-bats Jake Cousins - Throwing from mound and appears to be a couple of weeks away from facing hitters (5) @BryanHoch: Something to watch tonight as Clarke Schmidt makes his season debut - he tossed just 61 pitches last time out and is still building up. The bullpen could be thin, as Luke Weaver & Devin Williams have pitched in 3 out of 4 games. Look for Fernando Cruz, Mark Leiter Jr. & Ian Hamilton in the late innings. (6) @MaxTGoodman: Max Fried is now 17-3 with a 1.95 ERA and 159 strikeouts in his career against American League teams (25 GS). In his last seven starts against AL teams, he's 6-0 with a 0.99 ERA with 52 K.
