This is what we use to call the entry so it is not really new for us. It can be a bit confusing for non-tennis people, though. 豆：hi,嗯,這套系統對我們來說沒有真的改變。這是我們過去用來叫這些比賽的方式，所　　以對我們而言不是新東西。雖然它可能會對沒有打比賽的人造成一些困惑。 How much time did you allow yourself to rest during the short off season - do you have a period where you relax completely. Also do you relax your diet for a period of time? Paul McNamara 問豆豆在非賽季期間，會有多少時間是真正在休息？ RN: This year I had some more time since I had the knee problem at the end of 08. It also depends on the calendar and if you made it to the Masters or the Davis cup final. In my case 2 weeks is what I got this time really off. But if I wouldn’t have played the Davis cup final I would have had no time for rest. 豆：因為08年底我有膝傷，所以今年我有比較多時間休息。同時也要看賽程，看能不能參加大師盃或DC決賽。就我而言，這次有兩週是我真正脫離一切。但如果我能打DC決賽，我就沒有休息時間。 (感謝豆豆現身說法XD和a板大) I was wondering how do you manage to cope with things such as jet lag with such a demanding schedule as yours? Ayesha 問豆豆是怎麼處理賽程表造成的時差的？ RN: The jet lag and schedule are two different things. Jet lag is OK to get used to since we arrive with some time and we also travel comfortably. But the schedule is the tough part of tennis. 豆：時差和賽程表是兩回事。時差是可以習慣的，因為我們抵達的時間和舒適的旅途。　　但賽程表是網球真正困難的部份。 Do you think the backhand has a place as a major attacking weapon in modern tennis? With all of the top players running around their backhands more and more due to the basic physics of the forehand generating more power and topspin has this aspect of the game been lost? Thomas Devereux 問豆豆在現代網球中，反手是不是主要的進攻方式？ RN: Yes absolutely. Backhand is very important but nowadays with only one shot, be it forehand or backhand or even serve there is not much you can do. You need it all. Actually, you see players struggle more when there is forehand or backhand missing. 豆：是的，當然。反手非常重要，但現在只有一項武器，無論是反手、正手甚至發球，就　　沒有太多發揮的餘地，你需要全部的武器。事實上，你會看見正手或反手不好的選手　　更加辛苦。 How do you keep your confidence up to come back from being down 5-1 or losing the first set 6-0? What do you recommend to build up my own confidence to be able to do that? Mansoor 問豆豆如何在5-1或6-0輸掉第一盤時保持信心？ RN: Well you have to think that a match ends when the last point is over, not before. And you at the same time win when also the last point is over. So you think both ways and that answers your question. Daniel, Lancaster 問豆豆Murray今年有機會拿下法網嗎？ RN: Sure, Andy is a great player and has been playing on clay for many years when he was based in Barcelona. 豆：當然，Andy是很好的選手，而他也在紅土打了好幾年，他是在巴薩受訓的。 What are the best weather conditions for you to play in? Definitely I like to play with the sun and no wind. 豆：不只天氣還有很多條件，像是球場、球。當然我喜歡在有陽光而沒有風的情況下打球 As a result of a very successful year, you, quite deservedly, were the winner of numerous awards which required your presence and time in giving interviews, doing PR etc during the closed season. Did this affect the scheduling of your fitness regime and routine for getting yourself fit and healthy for the new season? Sandra, England 問豆豆過多的活動和訪談，會影響到新賽季的備戰狀況嗎？ RN: No, it doesn't since my priority is the game, the things I need to do such as fitness regime, rest, etc. after that the PR activities and things like that comes in second. I know it is important and I do them but first things are first.
