Down on the farm: On Sunday, Britt Reames was taken off the seven-day
disabled list because of a sprained right toe. Reames, 29, has been a starter
and a reliever for Triple-A Edmonton, going 3-6 with a 5.74 ERA in 13 games.
Opponents are hitting .300 against him.
Did you know?: Rusty Staub and Henry Rodriguez are the only left-handers
hitters to hit 30 home runs in a season for the Expos. Staub hit 30 home runs
in 1970 for the Expos, while Rodriguez hit 36 dingers in 1996.
