我們家的Top Prospect Mike Hinckley在歷經艱辛的春訓之後,
星期一跟著Dan Smith 與Josh Karp被丟回小聯盟春訓隊伍。
在3次出賽當中,6局的投球局數,14支安打,3次三振,5個四壞,
總共失去9分,防禦率高達12.00。

對於他的表現老教頭是這樣說得:
"I never like to see anyone struggle." "That's kind of a tough
lesson. . . . It was a long shot that he was going to make this
ballclub. It's probably better that he didn't pitch well because
we probably would've kept him longer, and it may have not been a
good decision."
他認為依照計畫從小聯盟一步步上來對Hinckley會是比較好的決定。
他說Hinckley投球時需要放輕鬆一點,因為他像是在丟球而非投球。
(trying to throw it through the backstop rather than just
trying to get it by the hitter.)
Hinckley預計會從2A開始他的球季,補足他所需要投球經驗。
