The formidable strikers Roy Makaay, Ruud van Nistelrooy, Dirk Kuijt and Pierre van Hooijdonk go before Vennegoor of Hesselink. Makaay scored 33 goals and Van Nistelrooy netted 31goals. Former PSV striker Klaas Jan Huntelaar is conspicuously present in the 2004 Top 10, where he occupies a joint ninth position.
