[歐冠] Fred Rutten will scout FC Schalke 04

FC Schalke 04 and Fenerbahce, two of the opponents PSV will face in the UEFA
Champions League group stage, will play a domestic league game this afternoon.
The games in which the other two teams, AC Milan and PSV, are involved will not
be kicked off until tomorrow.
FC Schalke 04
FC Schalke 04 will entertain Borussia Monchengladbach, who may field former PSV
defender Kasper Bogelund, in their own familiar Arena. Schalke occupy the
fifth place in the Bundesliga after two match days. At home they enjoyed a 2-1
over 1.FC Kaiserslautern and they also collected a 1-2 win on their trip to
Borussia Dortmund. PSV Assistant coach Fred Rutten will be present at the game.
PSV will meet FC Schalke 04 on Tuesday 13 September in the first group game of
the UEFA Champions League.
Fenerbahce SK
In Turkey the fourth round of the current campaign is scheduled for this
weekend. The blue-yellow outfit will welcome Samsunspor in the Tukru
Saracoelu Stadium. Fenerbahce are fifth in the table. They won one game and
they drew two games, which accounts for the five points they have earned so
far. Galatasaray are on top of the league, but they have played one more game
than their rivals.
AC Milan
The Italian league (Serie A) is going to be kicked off this weekend. AC Milan,
who will include former PS midfielder Johann Vogel in the starting line-up,
will travel to newly promoted Ascoli. Ascoli and Treviso will perform in the
Italian top flight, as AC Torino and Genoa were relegated to, respectively,
the Serie B and the Serie C. Torino were not able to balance their books and
Genoa were found guilty of having bribed an opponent last season in order to
avoid relegation.
