Kuyt recently agreed terms on a new two-year extension to his contract,
following hot on the heels of Reds boss Benitez and Steven Gerrard in
committing his future to the club.
隨著貝尼特斯和杰拉德的紛紛續約，庫伊特也在他的兩年續約合同簽下自己的名字，他
把自己未來兩年都獻給利物浦。
"I think it's important for Stevie and the manager to have extended their
contracts because they are vital to the club," he added.
“我認為最重要是史蒂芬和主教練都續約，因為他們才是俱樂部的核心。”
"I'm really happy with my own contract and I think there will be a few more
players to follow us, which is good because we have a great team and I hope
we can win a lot of trophies together.

Having joined the club from Feyenoord as an out-and-out striker in 2006, Kuyt
has established himself as a central figure in Benitez's first-team set-up,
operating in a role on the right of midfield.

The 28-year-old is happy to fill the position and considers himself to have
developed as a footballer since moving to Anfield.

He said: "This season I am playing in a different role to the one I played in
during my first two years here. Now I am playing more on the right, but I am
enjoying myself there.
