再來Abdur-Rahim經紀人Goodwin的說法
Goodwin表示Abdur-Rahim過去在他待過的三個球隊，每一項在右膝蓋所照的MRI和
現在籃網發現的都是一樣的結果。
Goodwin表示「就我所了解的，這項交易並不至於被喊卡。因為他從未因他的膝蓋
而缺賽過。我們所見這是過度的謹慎。對於他是否能繼續打球是沒有擔心的必要。
我希望這項交易能盡速完成。」
此外Rod Thorn的看法是他對於Rahim成為Nets的一份子表示樂觀，
但因為有前車之鑑(Mourning)，所以他才必須如此謹慎。

Aaron Goodwin, Abdur-Rahim's agent, said his client has never had a problem
with the right knee and that every MRI he has undergone with Portland,
Atlanta and Vancouver revealed the same result the Nets discovered.
"As far as I'm concerned, (this) should not be holding up the trade," Goodwin
said of Abdur-Rahim, who had never missed more than five games in one year
before an elbow injury cost him 28 games last season. "He has never missed
games because of his knee. We see this as being overly cautious. There is no
reason to worry about him being able to play. I want this to be dealt (with)
expeditiously."
Rod Thorn is optimistic that Abdur-Rahim will become a Net but he has to be
cautious after the Alonzo Mourning kidney failure episode and Jason Kidd's
knee surgery last year - especially since he is investing a six-year, $38
million contract, a $4.9 million trade exception and a 2006 first-round pick
in the 28-year-old forward.
