Milner: "Clean Sheets Are Important"

James Milner says United fans should appreciate the clean sheet on
Saturday, showing the Toon are at last getting things right at the back.
Milner: "The pleasing thing was we were solid at the back. Clean sheets
are important to us and if we can keep solid at the back with the attacking
players we have going forward there aren't too many games where we won't
score.
"It is a half-decent point. They came here to defend and we tried to win
the game, but things did not go for us on the day going forward. We had the
odd chance but the final ball was poor and it was just one of those days.
"The conditions were tough as the pitch wasn't the best out there.
"The lads needed an extra touch because of that, but it just didn't go for
us. You are going to get that in football, but if you get a clean sheet like
we did then you haven't gone wrong too much.
"There aren't many games where we go without scoring, but it wouldn't go
in for us against Boro."
