Magpies seal ￡6.3m Enrique switch
Newcastle United have signed Spain Under-21 international Jose Enrique
from Spanish side Villarreal for ￡6.3m.
The 21-year-old left-back, who watched the Magpies beat Sampdoria 1-0 on
Sunday, has agreed a five-year deal.
Newcatle manager Allardyce is also reportedly interested in signing
31-year-old Serbian defender Ivica Dragutinovic from Seville.
Capped 31 times by Serbia and Montenegro, Dragutinovic's three-year
contract with Sevilla expires in 2008.
Dragutinovic was part of the Serbia defence that conceded just one goal in
qualifying for the 2006 World Cup.
