Gosling在正式入隊後，也接受了紐卡日報的專訪。他表示： "It was a football decision at the end of the day, I spoke to a few managers and looked at the training ground and facilities of quite a few clubs." 這個決定只和足球相關，就這麼單純。我和一些教練與球隊洽談，也參觀了某些球隊的訓練球場和設施。 "But when I came here, I was really impressed with the gaffer and the coaching staff straight away." 但當我來到紐卡參觀，主帥和教練的表現讓我印象很好。 "The facilities are excellent and I feel I've made the right decision.
