Norwegian side Viking FK have secured the signing of GIF Sundsvall full-back
Fredric Lundqvist.
The Swedish star has penned a two and a half year deal and is hoping that the
move will increase his chances on the international stage.
"It felt exciting directly, it's a good coach and a good club," Lundqvist told
Sportbladet.
"To play for a side chasing the title in Norway will increase my chances."
The Stavanger club have also signed Canada international Sandro Grande after
the 27-year-old passed a medical on Wednesday.
