Brynjar Gunnarsson tasted victory on his Nottingham Forest debut but
plans to lead himself and his team-mates to greater glories.
The 27-year-old Iceland international featured for the opening 60 minutes
of Forest's 2-0 victory over Sunderland before being replaced by Danny
Sonner after sustaining a dead leg.
Gunnarsson spent the previous four seasons with Stoke before moving to
Forest and is excited at the prospect of a possible promotion campaign.
He said: "This is a club where a player feels he can really make a name
for himself as part of a successful side. I was very pleased Forest came
in for me and I suppose I provide a bit of experience on the pitch because
this is a young squad here.
"Now I'm looking forward to playing plenty of football and being successful."
