Birmingham close in on Finnish star
Birmingham are poised to offer a trial to Finnish midfielder
Alexei Eremenko.
The 20-year-old is set to leave HJK even though he has 18 months
of his contract left to run.
HJK's sporting director Tuomo Saarnio said: "Birmingham have been
in contact and it seems to be the most favourable option.
"We will be sitting down with the player and his father to discuss
what might happen.
"I think he will probably travel to England the week after next."
