Garrity's progress
Grant Hill said Friday night that his basketball workouts recently at Duke
University went well, and there still is no pain in his troublesome left
ankle, but he sounded more excited and surprised about workout partner Pat
Garrity.
Garrity missed last season with knee problems. Hill has missed most of the
past four seasons with ankle problems. If they both return healthy, the
Magic could be the deepest team in the Eastern Conference.
"Pat looked great, getting up and down the floor, dunking on people,'' Hill
said. "You'll be surprised how good he looks.''
