As a Pacers Insider, we wanted to let you know the Pacers have been selected
to represent the NBA in its debut in Taipei, Taiwan, during a preseason game
against Denver on Thu, Oct. 8.
"I think this is a great opportunity for our franchise and hopefully
recognition from the NBA of the team we are building, the way we play and the
effort that our players put forth," said Pacers President of Basketball Larry
Bird.
Additionally, we are pleased to announce the Indiana Pacemates will
participate in the NBA Jam Van China Tour and will leave Indianapolis on June
23. While in China, the Pacemates will blog about their trip at Pacers.com.
