選到了雙城的Kevin Cameron，令外小聯盟方面選了國民隊的
Brandon Powell，失去Joakim Soria
With the 13th pick in the first round of the Major League portion of the Rule 5
Draft, San Diego selected Kevin Cameron, a right-handed middle reliever from
the Minnesota Twins organization taken off the Triple-A Rochester roster.
Lost with the second choice in the draft was right-hander Joakim Soria, 22,
taken by the Kansas City Royals off the Padres' Triple-A Portland roster.
"He throws strikes with a cutter in the Mariano Rivera style - only without the
95 mile-per-hour fastball," said Mike Wickham, assistant to Grady Fuson, the
Padres' vice-president in charge of scouting and development. "We like him and
think he has a chance to make the staff in middle relief."
