SAN DIEGO (TICKER) —The San Diego Padres on Tuesday agreed to terms with
outfielder Emil Brown on a minor-league contract.
Brown, 34, hit .244 with 13 home runs and 59 RBI in 117 games with Oakland last
season.
A nine-year veteran, Brown is a career .258 hitter with 59 home runs and 326
RBI in 736 games with Pittsburgh, San Diego, Kansas City and Oakland.
