A Padres official told Joel Sherman of the New York Post on Monday
that Chase Headley will not be traded.
Some have suggested -- in the wake of the news that Alex Rodriguez
needs another hip surgery -- that the Yankees should pursue Headley. But
the 28-year-old third baseman is still pretty cheap and has steadily
developed into one of the best all-around players in the sport. The Friars
have no reason to move him.

因此將三壘手補強把腦筋動到Chase Haedley,
其實, 北佬在2012年球季中就已經鎖定他,
但是, Chase Headley表現穩定, 球隊主力, 還可以便宜用好幾年,
球隊沒理由交易他,
於是北佬被打槍了......
