Wizards close to deal for Hornets Mike James?
The Wizards are reportedly close to a deal that would send Antonio Daniels to
the Hornets in exchange for veteran point guard Mike James.
The contracts don't match (James makes $5.6 million this season and Daniels
$6.2 million) so other players would have to be involved. New Orleans forward
Melvin Ely is a possibility. The Hornets have no faith in James' abilities
and badly need a backup PG -- they have been relying on Devin Brown as an
out-of-position PG. Stay tuned.
