The league just announced that they have slapped Richard Hamilton with a flagrant foul, penalty one, for a hit he put on Kevin Garnett in the fourth quarter of Game 1. A penalty one involves a fine but not a suspension. With 9:59 left in the game, Hamilton threw an elbow up high around Garnett's neck and chin area. It was Hamilton's fourth foul and he was taken immediately out of the game. On the previous possession, Garnett had aggressively blocked Hamilton's shot. Hamilton was still steaming about the no-call on that one when he belted Garnett. Posted by Chris McCosky on Thu, May 22, 2008 at 5:28 PM I just saw a video clip of Richard Hamilton's flagrant-1 hit on Kevin Garnett. Totally justified. In fact, Hamilton is lucky it was just a grazing blow. Garnett was setting a high pick (one of his 53 in the game) and he got Hamilton solid. As Rip was breaking away, he clearly threw a right arm shiver at Garnett's face. Like I said, lucky he didn't hit solidly or he would be sitting out Game 2. http://info.detnews.com/redesign/blogs/pistonsblog/index.cfm -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.229.121.142
