By Nick James We finish our positional round-up with the pitchers in the 2009 draft class. Our Fall 2008 coverage of the 2009 Draft Class (which has stretched to the Winter) will conclude with our Top 100 which will publish sometime next week. Of all the groups we’ve discussed, this is the most volatile with the highest likelihood for change over the course of the next six months. In fact, even more so than the other eight positions we encourage you to view this Top 40 as a general list of amateurs to keep an eye on during the Spring seasons. With that in mind, we fully expect Stephen Strasburg to be the first off the board this June. A special talent with electric stuff and an elite fastball, an argument can be made that he would have gone 1:1 last year had he been eligible as a sophomore.
