Ellis worked out with several other top-rated point guard prospects, including Raymond Felton of North Carolina and Jarrett Jack of Georgia Tech. "I talked to Andy Miller (Ellis' agent) after the workout," Lanier coach Thomas Billups said. "He said it went really well. The people from the Timberwolves were impressed with Monta." Ellis ?who wasn't made available for comment ?is scheduled to work out in New York today for the Knicks, on Thursday in Toronto for the Raptors and Friday in New Jersey for the Nets, Billups said. "All those teams have been showing interest, especially Toronto and New Jersey," Billups said "We still feel good about it," Billups said. "People say it could be in the first 15 picks. It just depends on these workouts." Between workouts, Ellis, 19, will spend his time leading up to the draft working out at the IMG Sports Academy in Bradenton, Fla. Ellis had surgery on his left knee last month to repair cartilage. "Monta's fine now," Billups said.
