http://www.nba.com/raptors/news/swirsky_060805.html 貼幾個比較重要的問答 Chuck: We're getting a lot of e-mails about 6-8 high-school player Gerald Green. Some people who put the mock drafts together believe he'll be gone by the seventh pick. Do you have plans to bring him in? What can you tell us about him? Rob: He's scheduled to come in after the Chicago camp. He is a premier, upper-echelon athlete. He's got very good skills. He can shoot the ball, run and handle it. He doesn't have a lot of experience, but you can say that about all high school players in general. But you take a high school player with that ability and you're going to have to be patient because they need time to develop. Chuck: E-mailer Josh supports your youth movement and wants some information about Joey Graham's workout here in Toronto. Rob: I appreciate the comments. We do want to get younger, more athletic and acquire players who get after it defensively. It's going to be fun with a group of young, athletic, energetic players that we can build with for the future. Graham had a terrific workout with us. He addresses a lot of the things we like and is a tough, defensive-minded player that comes out of Oklahoma State. Players that come from Oklahoma State know how to play defence and will make that a priority. He's a quality young man and that's another high priority for us. Antoine Wright of Texas A & M is another quality player who can play several positions and who can score. We're going to get a couple of good players at seven and 16. Chuck: Rob, more e-mailers want to know the status of Eric Williams who was unhappy with his lack of playing time. He demanded a deal so where does he stand at this point? Rob: I had a very good exit interview with Eric. I sit down with everyone of our players and go over everything with them. Eric had a tough time when he came here. New Jersey was his home and he was shocked with the trade. With all the issues on our team he looked around and probably said, "What am I doing here?" I can understand that. We have a lot to clean up here and have cleaned up quite a bit already. It's an ongoing process. But Eric likes the players on this team and likes the direction we're going and wants to be a part of it. He has absolutely no problems staying here. Maybe he didn't handle things as well as we would have liked, but I think he's gotten over it. -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 61.229.168.147
