[情報] Choate, 5 others get minor league deals with Rays
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. (AP)—Left-handed reliever Randy Choate was among six
players who agreed to minor league contracts with the Tampa Bay Rays on Tuesday.
Choate, right-hander Julio DePaula, catcher Michel Hernandez, infielder Ray
Olmedo and outfielders Jon Weber and Ray Sadler also received invitations to
major league spring training with the AL champions.
The 33-year-old Choate pitched for Triple-A Nashville in the Milwaukee Brewers
organization last season. In parts of eight major league seasons with the New
York Yankees and Arizona Diamondbacks, he is 5-7 with a 4.64 ERA in 196
appearances.
