西瓜昨天出席活動時表示縱管內部已打算讓Joyce全力接手右外野今年仍然不會讓他對左投先發 (Joyce: 哭哭) Joyce過去3年都被標籤「右投限定」生涯對左投就只有51個AB 即使昨年打出10HR 40RBI OPS+131的好表現還是未有全職先發的機會看來在西瓜手下這條大聯盟之路真不易走啊....... In Maddon’s view, reverse-split lefties (particularly lefties that use a high-arm angle and rely heavily on a cutter — like Jon Lester, who Maddon specifically identified) give Joyce the opportunity to transfer his success against righties and Maddon hopes that success against reverse-split lefties will ultimately give Joyce confidence against more traditional lefties. http://therayarea.com/the-skipper-speaks 幸好麥登在心目中也有一個養成計劃就是嘗試讓Joyce面對reverse-split lefties時上場 reverse-split lefties是指對左打壓制力反而較差的左投例如紅襪的Jon Lester就是其中一個例子這也勉強算是給一點對左投的機會 (Joyce:幹一年下來有沒有100AB都不知道) 現在打線看來會是 Zobrst、S-Rod、Joyce 3個輪替對上左投 2B S-Rod RF Zobrist 右投 2B Zobrst RF Joyce S-Rod昨年也貌似對左投打得比較好其庥位置就大家隨便填上去好了 (假設Dan Johnson沒有和別人platoon --他生涯對左右投的BA都是.243) Go Rays!
