1.Hak-Ju Lee Rank: 1 ETA: 2013 Position: SS Age: 21, DOB: 11/04/1990 Bats: L, Throws: R Height: 6' 2", Weight: 170 Signed: March 29, 2008 - CHC Lee, who joined the Rays from the Cubs as part of the Matt Garza deal, is worth the price of admission just to watch him play shortstop. He is a plus defender across the board, capable of making highlight-reel plays. The two-time Futures Game participant is showing he can hit and run as well. He hits for average and while he's never going to rack up home run totals, he's not just a singles hitter. His speed helps in that regard and he should be more of a basestealing threat as he learns the nuances of that part of the game. Lee played the 2012 season with Double-A Montgomery, where he ended the season a year earlier, and hit .261 while swiping 37 bags before an oblique injury cut his season short in mid-August. 小李子是Garza交易從小熊過來的是水準之上的游擊手可以做很多高難度的守備動作這位參加過2次Future Game的小子已經證明他跑打都可以做的很好就算他不常幹砲他也可以打出average的成績他的速度也具有一定盜壘威脅程度 2.Taylor Guerrieri Rank: 2 ETA: 2015 Position: RHP Age: 19, DOB: 12/01/1992 Bats: R, Throws: R Height: 6' 3", Weight: 195 Drafted: 2011, 1st (24) - TB A projectable right-hander, Guerrieri was lighting up radar guns before the 2011 draft, throwing it anywhere from 92 to 97 mph. He has a plus curve as well , a hard downer breaking ball. He didn’t need a changeup in high school, but he’s shown a feel for it and it should be a future Major League average pitch. He’ll throw in a pretty good cutter for good measure. Guerrieri has average command, a solid delivery and a great pitcher’s body. All he needs to do is go out and pitch. He pitched in the New York-Penn League as a 19-year-old in 2012, demonstrating excellent command and a lofty strikeout-to-walk ratio during the short season. He runs the fastball into the mid-90s with good sink that generates groundouts. His slider is one of the nastier breaking balls in the Minors. His changeup lags behind the other two, and he’ll need to refine it to succeed long term. He also needs to improve on his command and lower his walk rate. In 2012, Archer built on his 2011 second-half turnaround and showed that he still has the pure stuff to be a frontline starter, getting his first taste of the Majors in two June starts. Worst case,that fastball-slider combination sure would look good in a short-relief role. He’s a very good all-around hitter, with above-average bat speed and mechanics that should allow him to be a good hitter. Mahtook can hit to all fields, and his power, which should be at least Major League average, is mostly to his pull side. He overswings at times, but not because of a bad approach; he just needs to rein himself. Mahtook has average speed, maybe a tick above, and is an excellent baserunner. Romero is a ways away, but there’s a lot to like, starting with a fastball he gets easily into the mid-90s with good movement. His secondary pitches are behind the heater, but both his curve and changeup have the chance to become outstanding weapons for him. His strikeouts per nine innings fell in 2012, but he managed to avoid the long ball more than he did in 2011. He put up nearly identical numbers with Class A Bowling Green in 2012, during his first full season of pro ball. Vettleson has an advanced approach at the plate and makes consistent hard contact, enabling him to hit for average as he moves up the ladder. He has some power and could grow into it even more as he matures. He doesn’t have plus speed, but he’s very smart on the basepaths and will steal some bases along the way. A former pitcher (a switch-pitcher, to be precise), Vettleson has a good arm that profiles well in right field, his current defensive home. After a good summer debut in the Gulf Coast League in 2011, he posted even better numbers in the Appalachian League in 2012, throwing his low-90s fastball down in the zone and generating a ton of groundouts. His other pitches , a curve and a changeup, aren’t quite as effective, and like a lot of young pitchers, he’ll need to refine them, as well as his overall command, as he moves up. Adding some strength to his lanky 6-foot-4 frame will also help. He has very good mound presence, and he faced tougher challenges in his first full season nicely, decreasing his walks per nine innings while striking out batters at a higher clip in 2012. He did earn his second callup, as the 26th man for a June doubleheader, but that was the lone bright spot in a season that in which his walks per nine skyrocketed and his ERA more than doubled. Torres has very good stuff with the chance to have three above-average or better pitches. His only real issue is his command. The Rays tried to find a place for Torres to work on his control issues in 2012, moving him to the bullpen at the end of April, but most of his numbers went in the wrong direction. He was placed on the disabled list on August 1 and returned to Triple-A Durham at the end of the month. Just 23 for all of 2012, Colome has a plus fastball, a curve that’s plus at times and an improving changeup. He’ll need that third pitch, and better command, to move up, especially with the glut of pitching talent in the system, but he has the stuff to be a frontline starter. Colome was promoted to Triple-A Durham on August 2, but his season ended a little early, after a shoulder injury landed him on the disabled list in late August. Colome在Rays算是升很快的了 2011還在A+ 今年就已經到Durham投球了他今年才23歲他有很棒的速球曲球還有正在進步的變速球他需要好的第3球種以及改善他的控球才能在Rays充滿投球天份的農場快速晉升他的stuff絕對可以使他變成前段輪值但是今年最後肩膀受傷要特別小心 10.Felipe Rivero Rank: 10 ETA: 2015 Position: LHP Age: 21, DOB: 07/05/1991 Bats: L, Throws: L Height: 6' 0", Weight: 151 Signed: July 30, 2008 - TB Rivero made his U.S. debut in the Appalachian League in 2011 and was outstanding over his first eight appearances before the wheels fell off a bit in August. He pitched well in 2012, his first full season, thanks to a fastball that has increased velocity, a curve that can be a plus pitch at times and a developing changeup. His strikeouts per nine dropped slightly in 2012, and he walked more batters, but his ERA came down more than a full run from the 2011 season.
