Daryl (Foxboro,MA): Any word on the Red Sox talks about Jermaine Dye. Even if
that gets done will they be targeting a reliever other than Gagne before
tuesday?
Buster Olney: (1:15 PM ET ) Daryl: Globe is reporting that Dye to the Red
Sox has a chance, for Wily Mo Pena and a pitcher. Red Sox folks thought at
10:45 that this still had a chance of getting done; it was really up to
Jermaine Dye, who controlled this process with a no-trade clause and was
somewhat reluctant because of the fact that he wasn't assured playing time.
