[紅襪] Kevin Youkilis Signed A 1-Year Contract with Sox

The Boston Globe reports that the Red Sox have agreed to terms with
Kevin Youkilis on a one-year, $3 million contract.
Youkilis requested $3.7 million via arbitration and the Red Sox offered
$2.525 million, so the compromise comes just short of the midway point.
Arbitration eligible for the first time, Youkilis is under the team's
control through 2010.
簽了一年3M的合約，不用進入仲裁。
本來兩方是3.7M vs 2.535M，然後3M成交。
希望Youk明年繼續在攻守都有好表現，esp after all-star break。
