If a Los Angeles or Miami offer were tossed in Adelman's direction, about the only reason he would turn it down is retirement. 如果湖人或是熱火都對Adelman伸出了溫暖的手, 唯一能讓Adelman拒絕的大概就只有退休這個念頭. Adelman never has said he wants to coach somewhere else, and he hasn't cheated on the Rockets. He isn't going through the motions. Adelman沒有說過他想去別的球隊當教練, 他也沒有騙人. If anything, he has been better the past two seasons. He has done a phenomenal job just to keep the team in playoff contention, squeezing almost everything a coach could get out of the Rockets. 這兩個球季他做得很好. 讓球隊還有進入季後賽的競爭力, 讓隊上的球員們都發揮出他們的實力. Adelman didn't buy these groceries. He didn't crack the bones in Yao Ming's foot or ruin Tracy McGrady's knee.
