Cautious Collins
Spencer Hawes left the game early in the third quarter after
some back stiffness and spasms and did not return to action.
However, coach Doug Collins and Hawes pointed out that had he
been needed, he could have played.
But with the schedule set up how it is, Collins said he was
not going to put Hawes back into Saturday night’s game no
matter what.
第三節耗子拉傷之後就沒有再回來，
Doug Collins 與 Hawes 都表示：只要球隊需要，他就能夠上場。
(意思是真的沒有很嚴重)
但是因為明天(1/9 ET)開始是主場對上溜馬、國王以及客場對上尼克的三連戰
因此昨天Doug Collins決定直接Shut down我們的鼠王。
(反正 Vucevic 也頂上了，沒什麼大不了啦)
“I was a little upset about it at first, but once I sat down
I understood where he was coming from,” Hawes said.
耗子哥：「我一開始有點賭氣為什麼 Doug 不讓我上場，
但是當我一下場，我就體會到為什麼教練會如此保護我。」

Collins says this season he won’t hesitate to sit players
down at the first sign of health trouble.
“We have to have healthy bodies,” Collins said. “If we lose
a guy for two weeks that could be 10 home games.”
Doug: 「為了避免球員陷入傷病麻煩
本季我不會讓球員帶傷上陣，無論是多小的傷。
我必須要為了維持這些新鮮的肉體負責，
尤其是這個月，如果我損失某個球員兩個禮拜，
那意思是我有至少十場主場不能使用這個球員，
這樣太悲劇了。」
