Sixers coach Doug Collins says that Spencer Hawes (Achilles)
is "getting closer" to a return.
Hawes has been ruled out for Wednesday's game, but this
comment at least leaves open the possibility that he'll be
back on Friday. Wednesday's game will mark the fifth straight
that Hawes has missed. Tony Battie is likely to get the start
