Hawes, who has missed 26 of the past 28 games with a strained
left Achilles, is expected to start at center Wednesday at
Indiana, Calkins Newspapers reports.
Recommendation:
After practice Tuesday, Sixers coach Doug Collins said Hawes
"picked up right where he left off" when he last played in a
win against the Lakers on Feb. 6. Doctors have limited Hawes,
who had the protective boot on his foot removed Feb. 27, to
five-minute stints and said he cannot play in back-to-back
games for the first 10 days of game action. So, only fantasy
owners in very deep leagues will want to utilize Hawes during
his initial forays into game action.
