抱歉回個文 XD 因為這段我第一次看翻譯的時候覺得怪怪的
所以翻原文把細節補一下 :p 希望原po別太在意 其他部分都很ok XD

pre-election polls before Duncan led the Spurs to the 1999 title. Voting on
the same day the Spurs were presented their championship rings, San Antonians
overwhelmingly approved public support for what is now the AT&T Center.
當時將會舉行公民投票來決定是否要由政府出資興建新球場，而這對馬刺是否要繼續
待在聖安東尼奧(expression "Alamo City == San Antonio" returns true! XD) 是非
常關鍵的。在Duncan帶領馬刺邁向1999總冠軍之前，選前民調顯示這個議案的支持度不
夠高(trailed in pre-election polls = 民調落後 XD)。正式投票那天剛好是頒發冠軍
戒指的日子(i.e. 下一季第一場主場比賽)，而當地居民最後也壓倒性的同意這項議案，
所以才有現在的AT&T center～
