我想賽後Steve Nash說得很好： "I think on paper we have more talent than they do. But I think their experience, their commitment and understanding of what they're trying to do is greater than ours. Their ability to play together and make small plays on both ends of the floor is unsurpassed." 帳面上我想我們比他們更有天份，但他們有經驗、決心，了解自己在做什麼，這是強過我們之處。他們的默契和在攻守兩端貫徹的能力前無古人。 small play是個很妙的詞，我第一次聽到，卻非big play的相反。通常後者指關鍵時刻的漂亮得分、火鍋或抄截，small play的意思卻是馬刺所有球員為貫徹Popovich的意志（無論全場戰略或單次球權的戰術）而做出的所有努力，包括救球、干擾、跑位、擋人、快速換防、前場偷跑（越位！）等等，以及遊走道德邊緣的假摔（製造進攻犯規）、靠身（製造防守犯規）、砍鯊等你可以稱為小動作的東西。 Raja Bell講得白些： "They beat us with the intangibles. They beat us with the little things. They beat us with the gamesmanship. They beat us with the attention to detail. The game plan. The commitment to doing all the little things to win games." 他們在無形之處擊敗我們。他們在小地方擊敗我們。他們以小動作擊敗我們。他們以對細節的關注擊敗我們。還有戰略。他們為了贏球什麼也不放過。這段話可褒可貶，但我以為帶有肢體接觸的競技中小動作本屬正常，因為贏是人性，只要不蓄意傷害對手就好。所以孔子說最文明的競技莫過於射箭了（在現代或許還有排球、網球和桌球），所以我也覺得包叔有時候的確過火了些。鐘先生的話裡我想沒有人可以爭論的就是全隊上下「對細節的關注」，從球員、教練團到制服組皆然，這才是馬刺成功的真諦。 -- ※ 發信站: 批踢踢實業坊(ptt.cc) ◆ From: 218.211.14.4
