The Spurs have a $5 million mid-level exception (MLE) with which to fill
their wish list, or even less — just $3 million — if they can’t carve
their projected $75.4 million payroll below the luxury tax line of roughly
$70.3 million. Either way, the Spurs will be bargain shoppers this holiday
season.

season, but even Mark Cuban might not have pockets deep enough to re-sign him
if Chandler breaks the bank.
