看到魔鬼魚的官網提到這件事
他們對於簽下岩村還抱持樂觀
雖然樂觀也不會以一副認為一定會簽下的態度來面對....
原文如下：
The Rays plan to continue negotiations with Japanese free-agent
infielder Akinori Iwamura, for whom the Rays bid $4.5 million to win
the negotiating rights on Nov. 15. If signed, Iwamura would give Tampa Bay
some flexibility with his ability to play several positions.
The Rays met Sunday with Iwamura's agent, Alan Nero, and Friedman said
discussions were progressing.
"Nothing is imminent, but we're optimistic that we will get the deal done,"
Friedman said. "We're optimistic that we will [sign him], but we're not
going to treat it like it's a done deal."
The Rays have until Dec. 15 to finalize a contract with Iwamura. If he
does not sign, Tampa Bay does not have to pay the $4.5 million posting fee,
and Iwamura would return to play in Japan.
