http://0rz.tw/m4yt6 Robredo through at expense of Lu Friday 23 January 2009 By Vanessa Skendaris Tommy Robredo has galloped through to the fourth round of Australian Open 2009, demolishing Yen-Hsun Lu of Chinese Taipei 6-1 6-3 6-2 on Friday. The Spaniard swept through the opening set, breaking Lu three times and cracking 10 winners to Lu’s three en route to sealing it in just 29 minutes. Lu, who upset world No.11 David Nalbandian in the previous round in a thrilling 6-4 5-7 4-6 6-4 6-2 victory, lacked the finesse that got him over the line in his previous match, with Robredo proving far too strong for the 25-year-old. Lu bounced back in the second set by initially keeping up with his Spanish opponent, and broke Robredo at 4-2. Robredo, a French Open quarterfinalist in 2003, 2005 and 2007, immediately turned up the heat on Lu, winning back the break with his deep forehand winners and securing the set in 40 minutes. Early in the third set, Lu received treatment on his troublesome right knee which had forced him to pull out of the Hopman Cup three weeks ago. Taking advantage of the break whilst Lu received treatment, a refreshed Robredo came out firing, breaking Lu’s serve twice before taking out the match in an hour and 50 minutes.
