Knee - Out until at least mid February
Guard Rashard McCants was activated for Saturday's game, but before you jump
to any conclusions about his rehab timetable from microfracture knee surgery,
know this: Wittman told McCants that under no circumstances would he play in
the game.
The active roster spot was vacant because forward Justin Reed was attending
to family business, so Wittman let McCants suit up and sit on the bench as a
reward and as motivation for all his rehab work. The second-year shooting
guard might actually be cleared to participate in a game in the next couple
of weeks, however.
