http://tinyurl.com/yck45n8 Kahn 利用球隊難得的四天空檔飛往歐洲，觀看灰狼隊在歐洲聯盟的兩名重要球員 Rubio 和 Pekovic 的賽事。首站前往塞爾維亞首都貝爾格勒，很不巧看到 Rubio 以及他的歐洲職業隊 Regal Barcelona 吞下首敗。Kahn 對於Rubio 的表現算滿意，他認為現場的氣氛誇張地緊繃，張力十足，到現場才能感受到。而 Rubio 在這樣高張力的環境下，仍然帶領球隊克服大比分落後，將比賽帶入延長賽。賽後，Kahn 有與 Rubio 短暫交談。當被問到是否有聊到 Rubio 在 NBA的未來， Kahn 回應現在談那還太早，此趟拜訪希望讓 Rubio 曉得灰狼球團仍很重視他。 "It's way too early for that, but it was nice to visit." Rubio 最快要在2011年，或是2012年才有前進 NBA 的可能性。第二站 Kahn 到了希臘雅典觀賞 Pekovic 的比賽。灰狼隊在08年選秀會中，用第二輪頭籤把這名6呎11吋的禁區球員選了下來，一晃眼也一年半載了，今夏灰狼隊終於有資格和 Pekovic 簽約。當 Kahn 被問到 Pekovic 是否有承諾下一季就來，Kahn回應他沒有要求任何承諾。但他認為種種跡象顯示，Pekovic 已經準備好要邁入下個層級。 "It's not my place to say whether he'd commit or not, and I didn't ask for a commitment of that kind. But all indications are, yes, he is ready and this would be the next step in his career." Kahn 表達了首次親身觀看 Pekovic 打球的重要性。 "I certainly liked what I saw, and I have liked what I've seen on film." 但他認為仍應繼續評估 Pekovic 是否能融入 Big Al、Love 為主的前場中。 "The issue with him is how it all fits with the front line we already have.
