Unfortunately, for Johnson, the 'Wolves traded for Michael Beasley who earned the small forward job in training camp. Johnson wasn't sent to the bench though; he was moved to shooting guard. Johnson started 52 games at guard averaging a respectable 9.2 points, but struggled from the field shooting only 41%. This upcoming season is going to be an interesting one for Johnson. He will have a new coach and even during the lockout rumors are swirling that the 'Wolves are looking to make a trade to free up more minutes for Johnson.
