It’s a familiar Davis Cup line-up consisting of world No. 5 Andy Roddick, No. 6 James Blake and the No. 1 doubles team of Bob and Mike Bryan. This is the 12th meeting between the United States and Sweden in Davis Cup with the United States leading the series 8-3. “The Swedes have a great history in Davis Cup,” said McEnroe. “They always play well, usually play above their ranking. We're certainly expecting a tough match.” “I’m looking forward to playing Sweden in the Davis Cup semifinals,” said Blake. “They are a strong team, but we proved that we can win on the road against tough teams, especially with our first-round win at the Czech Republic this year.
