I vaguely remember Jerry Lewis, Tiny Tim and an opera singin' Bo Jackson
auditioning to become Diet Pepsi's 1991 spokesperson, but the NBA's all-time
assists leader, John Stockton, too? Which wily robot disguised as a household
appliance erased that from my memory? Was it the microwave? It was the
microwave, wasn't it?
