Miles, who slipped into the second round, acknowledges he might have been better served if he had fulfilled his commitment to Texas. He has no regrets, though. Nor should he. He's cashed NBA paychecks for four-plus years and has developed into a quality role player for the Jazz. He's been more than that tonight against the Mavs. He's lit it up since coming off the bench, scoring nine points in six minutes. The Mavs' bench as a whole has six points. Miles has a long way to go to have his best performance that I've witnessed.
