Jordi Candel, medical service's chief has confirmed Curro Torres's return
to work with the rest of the group by the end of the month, just as Vicente.
The doctor has pointed out in his press conference that "The knee is already
dry and his recovering has been good although such a breaking will delay his
return two weeks. He finds difficult running and changing direction.
Concerning Vicente, I must say that the appreciation is good in general, but
he has still some pain in his left ankle. His recovering will take time,
although each day he works more and better.
Caneira will be off sick in the match against Getafe, because he has a
fibre breaking. He will be recovered in two weeks. The morning has been quiet
in Ciudad Deportiva in Paterna. Harmed players and those who didn't play
against Atletico de Madrid have made a soft training session. The players h
ave undergone a medical analyse a some physical tests to measure their
resistance. Tomorrow morning the other members of the team will undergo the
same test. In the afternoon they'll come back to training after their days
off. Spanish matador Enrique Ponce has also been in Paterna to have a session
with one of the physiotherapists. Ponce is a well known valencianist that
holds a very good friendship with some of Valencia C.F.'s players.
