December 10, 2004 --Diana Taurasi is such a hoops
junkie it figures her debut movie role would
involve a basketball.
Taurasi has a role in Believe in Me, the emotional
and inspirational true story of a young man, played
by Jeffrey Donovan, whose 1963 coaching dreams seem
dashed when he's assigned the girls' basketball team
at a rural high-school, a dead-end in that pre-Title IX time.
Taurasi plays a coach of a team that beats Donovan’s
squad but doesn’t run up the score.
